I came across this post at GardenWeb about several instances with problems of the enamel in the oven chipping. It appears as if Dacor may have a problem on their hands, but it is reassuring to read of the extraordinary steps they took to address the problems.

I visited Dacor headquarters a couple years ago and came away very impressed. Not just by the products they manufacture, but by the people. Everyone, from the executives to the men and women working on the assembly lines, displayed a wonderful attitude in their work.

Here is a link to the oven in question in the GardenWeb forum. It really is a fabulous oven, and soon I will write a bit more about Dacor ovens and why I think they are a great product.
