If you do any Google search about appliances, the appliances forum at GardenWeb will probably appear near the top of the results. (There is also a separate forum for laundry appliances.)

The reason I say it is such a good resource is because it has a large audience, and many of them know a lot about appliances. You can get feedback from people who actually own the appliances you are researching, and they are very good at answering questions.

Like every other resource, utilize the information and feedback found there judiciously.
